Summer Palace has its own history. Built in the year 1930, it was once exclusively the domain of heads of monarch, where the maharaja of Mysore His Highness Maharaja Sri Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Bahadur used to reside before he became the governor of TamilNadu (1964-1966), which was earlier the office for East India company for a brief time. Thereafter the summer palace was given to a Christian missionary to run an orphanage.

It was Mr. Vijay Krishnamurthy’s, the founder of the brand VJ Jewellery Visions, idea to convert a part of the residence into a magnificent boutique styled store with the motive to preserve heritage and honour arts & fashion.

The grandeur of the building is so great that the architecture is overwhelming in its beauty. With the intricate designs and beautifully crafted interiors, Summer Palace is now a realm for exotic, exclusive fine jewellery, gems and stones from across the world.
